Classification according to IEC 60825-1 and EN 60825-1
IEC 60825-1 is the internationally accepted standard for the safety of laser products. The international standard IEC 60825-1:2014 was issued by the European Standardization Organization CENELEC as EN 60825-1:2014. With Amendment A11:2021 to EN 60825-1, the European version has some deviations compared to IEC 60825-1:2014. Since this standard is listed as a harmonised standard under the Low-Voltage Directive, it has to be adopted by each member state in Europe.
We are specialized in the examination of complex sources, i.e. extended sources like line lasers requiring the determination of the most restrictive position, multiple sources, complex pulse patterns and scanned laser sources.
